Riley's farm reflection Riley's farm was fun. I liked the skit that we did and the weaving. I also liked the war play we did . The skit that we did was very fun. I liked it because when I refused to give up my shingle and at the end I got another shingle. I also liked the weaving. I could have weaved a lot of cool patterns if I had the time. The weaving was also kind of confusing. These are the reasons why I liked riley’s farm.
american revolution When did this happen? This happened in 1775. What happened? What happened was that some delegates wanted immediate independence no matter what the cost. Others were still loyal to King George III and even though they did not like the British taxation without representation, they wanted to avoid an all-out war with England. They finally decided to go slowly and not make any drastic moves that might start a major war. On the other hand, they also felt they needed to protect themselves, so they established the Continental Army and named George Washington as Commander-in-Chief. This event contributed to American Revolution because…They wanted to tell King George III that they wanted peace. John Dickinson wrote "The Olive Branch Petition" and made suggestions on how to solve the problems. King George would not read it, because in his mind it was an illegal document made by an illegal congress. After King George III officially called the Colonies in rebellion and after Thomas Paine's Common Sense was circulated and read, the Patriots realized there was no way to solve the problems peacefully. They decided to declare independence and they drafted the Declaration of Independence which was adopted and ratified on July 4, 1776
The major flaws with the articles of confederation was that the government had no power, they could not ask for taxes, made different prices for different people, and different money in different states.
the constitution is all our rights and the preamble explains why our founding fathers made the constitution.
Unit reflection
Learner profile reflection I was an inquirer by asking question and looking up answers. I was knowledgeable by telling people answers that they asked. I was a risk taker because I tried new things. I appreciate the government because they do all in their power to keep us safe. I am curios because all the projects the government does not share with us.
